When parents of high schoolers go out of town, it's basically just assumed that their kids are going to throw a party in their absence.
Two Connecticut girls, ages 15 and 16, had the same idea when their parents went away for the weekend.
Things took a teen comedy movie-type twist though when the parents arrived home early. Only no one was laughing. The parents wasted no time calling the police and having their daughters arrested for possession of alcohol.
Reports state that this was the third party the girls had thrown over three days with 15 or 20 people attending each one.
What do you think? Were the parents teaching their daughters a valuable lesson or did they go too far?
