A 16-year-old female is dead after being ejected from the car during a drag race in Gurnee, Ill., that ended in a crash. 

Cynthia Perez of Antioch was a passenger in the car 17-year-old Jeremy Betancourt (pictured, left) was racing when he lost control of the wheel. The car went airborne, rolled over and ejected Perez and another passenger. 

Betancourt is charged with reckless homicide, aggravated street racing and driving without either a valid license or insurance. Another teen involved in the incident, 19-year-old Michael R. Dawson (pictured, right), is charged with aggravated street racing and having an expired vehicle registration.

They face a bond of $250,000 a piece.
