Chicago is getting a new, ice cream-themed museum in 2022.

The Museum of Ice Cream, hailing itself as “an experience that inspires imagination & connection,” has three existing locations in New York City, Austin and Singapore, with the Windy City joining the list soon. The museum “is designed to be a culturally inclusive environment and community, inspiring human connection and imagination through the universal power of ice cream,” the Museum of Ice Cream states.

The Museum of Ice Cream announced its upcoming Chicago location on its social media channels on Wednesday (October 5). The Windy City location will feature 14 “magical and interactive installations, reimagined just for the city.” So far, followers of the ice cream-themed museum are pumped for the newest location to open in 2022.

Eater Chicago reports that the art installation museum will open at 435 N. Michigan Avenue, in the redeveloped Tribune Tower site. There will also be a speakeasy bar and restaurant and a mini golf course. The space will total more than 13,500 square feet. Sixty- and 90-minute guided tours will, of course, include stops for ice cream tasting.
