In Illinois the number of families who are defined as the Working Poor continues to rise each year. At St. Vincent DePaul Center 456 children ages 3 months to 12 years old attend our child development programs.
Imagine at the holidays having to make the decision of paying rent or buying your child a gift. Santa Mike has been addressing these needs for 47 years with a Holiday party that includes a visit from Santa and a special gift for each child.
