'The Hills' Is Returning To Prime Time

We've been waiting almost 10 years for the day we'd hear that our favorite California socialites were coming back and the time has finally come. MTV confirmed that 'The Hills' is getting a reboot, The Hills: New Beginnings.

The new reality show will air in 2019 and feature a majority of its original cast members excluding one prior star, Lauren Conrad. RIP to the single mascara teardrop.

Monday, August 20th during the MTV Music Video Awards, MTV aired the sneak peek trailer for fans everywhere but if you're expecting the same drama we saw years ago - don't get your hopes up too high. The group of returning castmates says, "we're grown up now and it's more about our lives than immature feuds." Something tells me we'll still receive a good dose of drama. The bigger question, who can we expect to see return?

Ahh, the couple that everyone thought would never make it, Speidi. Spencer and Heidi Pratt will be rejoining but this time around they're a party of three. Heidi gave birth to baby boy Gunnar on October 1st and if you didn't know, she was surrounded by $27,000 worth of crystals.

What's a family return with Spencer's outspoken sister, Stephanie. Pratt moved to the UK after her time on 'The Hills' to be with her former boyfriend, Spencer Matthews. She's also appeared on a stint of reality shows since.

Speidi won't be the only parents to reappear in the 90210, Audrina Patridge is also confirmed to return. The mother and founder/owner of Prey Swimwear have been quite busy in the fashion industry since her time on the show. Wondering how her interactions with Justin Bobby will be this time around?

Speaking of which, Justin Bobby, nice to have you back.

Jason Wahler is a GO! The Hills star battled a long road with addiction and recovery but is now living a life dedicated to helping others find sobriety at Widespread Recovery, a rehabilitation center in Orange County.

Let's keep the boys coming, Frankie Delgado, you're up next. These days Frankie is consuming his time with acting and producing projects all over the world.

Due to her own reality show commitments with E!, Kristin Cavallari will not be rejoining her castmates. If you still need your fill though you can catch her on her brand new series, Very Cavallari on E!

LC's former bestie, Lo Bosworth gave this project a hard pass. In a recent interview when asked about a rejoin, she was quoted saying, "Fuck no! I don't want any association with any of those people. The dissociation from all those people is what I'm hungry for."

You can put a check mark next to Whitney Ports' name. Since the show, she's spent time building and growing a lifestyle and fashion blog.

Cheers to The Hills: New Beginnings & a return of a show that consumed way too much of my middle school days.
