Service on the blue line was suspended for several hours Monday because a deer had to be removed from the tracks. Here's more:
"Service was suspended between the Harlem and O’Hare Blue Line stops for a few hours Monday afternoon as city crews removed an injured deer from the tracks, according to the Chicago Fire Department. The shutdown lasted three hours, from about 1:30 p.m. to 4:20 p.m., according to the CTA. The fire department said it worked with Chicago Animal Care and Control to safely remove the deer, lovingly referred to as Bambi, from the tracks. The deer was unharmed, officials said."
