A third Amazon Go store has opened in Chicago. The newest automated check-out store is located at 500 W. Madison at Ogilvie Transportation Center. Here's more from NBC:
"The opening came a little under three months after Amazon debuted its first concept store in Chicago - which was also its first outside Seattle where the company is headquartered. Chicago's first Amazon Go store is located at 113 S. Franklin St., about three blocks away from its second location at 144 S. Clark St., which opened in October."
As you may know, shoppers scan their Amazon app when they walk into the store. When they take an item from a shelf it's automatically put in their cart and then customers are charged when they leave the store. I still need to check one out!
