Chicago got a lot of attention on Sunday night's 16th season premiere of 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians." Here's more from the Chicago Tribune:

RapperKanye Westtook his wife,Kim Kardashian, and their daughter, North, on a tour of his hometown of Chicago and mended his relationship with his longtime friend and collaborator, rapper/activist Che “Rhymefest” Smith, on Sunday’s season premiere of “Keeping up with the Kardashians.”

West, Kardashian and North were shown visiting the Havas creative agency and the Sugar Factory restaurant in River North; and West’s childhood home and the Avalon Regal Theater in the South Shore community.

“We’re refurbishing the Regal, which is a Chicago landmark. It’s like our Apollo, and it’s on 79th Street, which is the street I grew up on,” West said.

Theater owner Jerald Gary was shown giving the West family a tour of the space, which is undergoing renovations. Gary told the Tribune that West has committed $1 million to upgrade the theater, and he expects doors to open in the fall.

Kanye even gave his first interview ever last night on the show! Take a look!
