New TV Show Called 'Murder House Flip' Will Be Your New Obsession

Old stone house on foggy night

There's a new television show in the works that combines all your favorite things: home renovation projects and true crime stories. The premise of the upcoming Murder House Flip is, as the title suggests, all about renovation houses where murders took place. Spooky, right? Here's everything we know so far about Murder House Flip.

The series comes from CSI executive producer Josh Bergman, so, you know it'll be just as compulsively watchable as the long-running scripted crime drama. Murder House Flip will highlight homes all across the United States that are infamous for murders committed there. A team of home renovation experts, as well as some spiritual experts, will help the homeowners rid the house of any unwanted spirits or bad auras left in the house following the crimes and then revamp it into something new.

"We are thrilled to bring this one of a kind series to life and dive into a world that combines America's two biggest TV obsessions: true crime and home renovation," Elyse Seder, SVP Alternative & Syndicated Programming of Sony Pictures Television, said in a statement.

The episodes are expected to have a short run time as they will air on the new streaming service Quibi, which is short for "quick bites." Quibi aims to reach viewers wanting to watch shows on their smart phones. The expected length of Quibi's original content is around 10 minutes, so, Murder House Flip will be super binge-able.

Quibi will launch in sometime in 2020 with a number of exciting projects from big name stars, including Darren Criss, Liam Hemsworth, Anna Kendrick, Zac Efron, Don Cheadle and Steven Spielberg. There's even a How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days reboot premiering on Quibi, too! Will you be checking out Murder House Flip?
