Drake is in a nostalgic mood for the holidays this year. On Friday (Dec. 6th) the "6 God" singer posted a gallery on Instagram proving that he was and always has been about the 6, or more stylistically written “6ix”. If you’ll recall, Drake reps the 6ix hard as it's now become a nickname for his hometown, Toronto.

In the latest photos, the multi-hyphenated artist posted a shot of him posing in front of an old apartment complex that he and his mother lived in during childhood. Looking at the address showing Unit No. 6, Drake reveled in the fact that the 6ix as always been apart of him.

"Used to live in one of the units in this house with my mom. Address makes sense now," he captioned the photo.

The rapper has been spending a lot of time in Toronto lately following the recent completion of his 35,000 square-foot mansion. On Wednesday (Dec. 5th) Drake took to Instagram stories to share a short glimpse of his beautifully decorated kitchen and living room.

Fans watching were granted an inside peek at a luxurious sitting area housing a cozy fireplace. A marble-filled kitchen was also on display as Drake rapped along to Jay's 2009 hit "I Know.”

"Hov in the house all day. Unprecedented," he captioned the instagram stories, shouting out Jay-Z whose birthday was on Wednesday.
