Blink-182 brought the nostalgia at iHeartRadioâs ALTer EGO 2020 presented by Capital One at The Forum in Los Angeles on Saturd, January 18. Travis Barker, Matt Skiba and Mark Hoppus delivered an 11-track set featuring throwback hits including âWhatâs My Age Again?â and âAll the Small Things,â as well as new tracks off their ninth studio album, Nine.
The trio were stoked to be performing back in their hometown of Los Angeles and gave shoutouts to the likes of fellow ALTer EGO performers including Billie Eilish and also hilariously called out a younger couple in the sold-out crowd for not recognizing them during their set.
"I like to think we are the first band to have a song on the radio that has the word 'sodomy' in it," Skiba also joked following throwback "What's My Age Again?"
The band also performed cult faves "Feeling This," 'First Date," and "All the Small Things," as well as new releases "I Really Wish I Hated You" and "Darkside." They concluded their epic performance by sprinkling in some of TLC's "No Scrubs" with 1997's "Dammit."
Their 35 minute-long performance comes following their Australia wildfire relief success. To give back, Blink-182 unveiled an exclusive merchandise collection, with all proceeds going toward the Australian Zoo, an organization providing medical care and rehabilitation to impacted wildlife whose habitats have been destroyed in the inferno.
âAustralia is being ravaged by deadly fires, and we just feel so helpless,â the band tweeted earlier this month. âWe put out a new merch line + donating all proceeds to charity. Letâs do our part to make sure everyone, the environment, plus all of these kangaroos & koala bears are safe.â The trio ended up raising well over $20,000.
