Jennifer Aniston Gives Nurse Recovering From COVID-19 Heartwarming Surprise

During this extremely uncertain and difficult time in the world, healthcare professionals everywhere are selflessly sacrificing so much to help take care of those affected by coronavirus COVID-19, some even contracting the virus themselves — like nurse Kimball Fairbanks from St. George, Utah.

Kimball was a special guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week (where Kimmel was doing the show from his home), during which she explained that she had tested positive for COVID-19 and had to isolate herself from her two young daughters — ages 4 and 18 months — and was furloughed for the time being as a result.

While chatting with Kimball, who revealed she is starting to feel better, Jimmy announced he had a few special surprises in store for her, the first being Jennifer Aniston, who jumped onto the video chat to say hello and express her gratitude for everything she and healthcare workers everywhere have been doing during this time. Aniston told Kimball, "I just have to say, God bless you and all of you that are out there doing what you’re doing. I just, I don't even know how to express my gratitude to everything that you guys are doing, putting your health at risk and all of that. You're just phenomenal."

But the surprises didn't end there, because Jennifer and Jimmy then explained that they were giving Kimball at $10,000 gift card to Postmates. The nurse had said earlier that she has not been able to cook for herself and has been ordering delivery to eat.

Kimball's fellow nurses who work on her floor at the hospital are also receiving Postmates gift cards, courtesy of the food delivery service, as well. As Jimmy explained, "so that they can order too on the rare occasion that they get to go home and rest."

Jimmy added, "On behalf of all of us, I think Jen said it very well, we are very, very grateful to what you and all these healthcare workers are doing. It's so far above and beyond, and it really is unbelievable."
