Due to the ongoing pandemic, things have taken a turn for the worse in the St. Louis jail. Delayed court dates, poor living conditions and an unknown timeline on vaccine distribution have all culminated into the 2nd rebellion this year and 4th since the coronavirus outbreak.

According to St. Louis Post-Dispatch, police were able to control the situation hours later and no one escaped. While there were "about 50 to 75 supporters on the sidewalk below were protesting what they called 'inhumane conditions' at the jail."
