Cleveland Man Convicted On 3 Charges for Murdering Elderly Man

Earlier today, 37-year-old James Hannah pleaded guilty to murdering an 81-year-old man at a Mount Pleasant gas station. He is being sentenced for one count of Aggravated Murder, two counts of Attempted Murder, and one count of tampering with evidence.

Last April, Anthony Watkins was killed as Hannah sporadically shot gunfire in the parking lot. Thanks to a witness who followed him, police were able to find the identity of the shooter and detain him.

As a previous convict, Hannah is being held on a warrant from 2017 for shoplifting almost $200 of goods from Walmart.

He will be sentenced at 10 am on June 2nd at the Cuyahoga County Justice Center.
