Back in June of 2018, the world's largest toy store, Toys "R" Us decided to shut their doors after a slew of bankruptcy issues as well as struggling sales. For kids growing up in the 80s' & 90s', TRU was the pinnacle of a kid in a candy store. Sadly, the booming online business gave the in-store retailer a run for its money eventually forcing owners to shut down every store in the US.
Not even a full year later and the retailer just might be re-opening its store but under a new name, Tru Kids Brand. Personally, I say keep the old name but that's just me.
