Summer 2018 has been the summer for quickie engagements. It seems that every twenty-something pop-star is rushing to the alter but one artist that is shocking everyone, Nick Jonas. The Jonas Brothers' are all known for their deep Christian faith and connection as a family. Let's not forget, the popular boy band all wore purity rings until they were like 20. But, Nick Jonas is taking the plunge and is officially off the market.
Couple #3 to bite the bullet - Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra. After "officially" dating for only a couple of months, the couple is engaged. But, I can't help but think this has been a long time thing that they were just really good about keeping under the radar. The couple did attend the 2017 Met Gala together even though they insisted it was just "friendly."
Fast forward a year and the two are seen numerous times together, igniting more dating rumors. Next thing we know, Nick Jonas is shutting down a Tiffanys store to pick out an engagement ring. This isn't the first couple to take the engagement plunge pretty quickly and Disney fans are just up in arms.
Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson kicked off the trend back in June when they got engaged after only a couple weeks of dating. And there's already rumor that the couple is planning on an August wedding.
Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin also made headlines after an engagement came just one month after the couple began dating. Here's another case though of two people who have history so even though "officially" it's been a month, it's been longer than that.
