Michelle Obama Receives 27 Second Standing Ovation During Grammy Opener


When you don't make music and get a standing ovation at the Grammys...

But actually though. Obviously the 61st Grammy Awards went down this past Sunday with Alicia Keys, 15 time Grammy winner, as the host. To kick off the award ceremony she let the crowd and viewers at home know she came to make it her own. And she definitely did. From playing two pianos at once to showing a clip of her losing Song Of The Year to John Mayer in 2005, Alicia Keys made us feel like we've been friends with her since her first Grammy appearance. Well, during that opener she brought out all the heavy hitters. Lady Gaga, Jada Pinkett Smith, Michelle Obama and Jennifer Lopez shared the staged with her and each shared their own testimonies.
