Fred got to visit Anthony Alfano and his family in Melrose Park after his awesome "Beetlejuice" costume went viral.
Anthony's wonderful mother, Deanna, received an envelope from Ms. Rosado-a teacher at the Pulaski international school of Chicago. Her 2nd grade class made Halloween cards just for Anthony and they are adorable!
A woman named Tina who works at Mars Candy Company also came over to visit Anthony with a huge bag of M&M gear, including M&M's with his picture and name on them.
We hope Anthony has an amazing Halloween!
This Halloween, 9-year-old Anthony Alfano from Melrose Park is a star!
His costumes in the past have included Mini-Me, a Blackhawks goalie and even a Lincoln Memorial snow globe.
Halloween is more than a day of dress up for Anthony-it's an escape. The young boy lives with cerebral palsy and "is always seen as Anthony, the boy that can't do nothing." His family just wants to make him not be seen that way, and the city of Chicago has also helped cheer him on!
