JRDN's Favorite 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards Moments

The 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards was a magical night filled with amazing performances, laughs, powerful speeches and much more! Many names and faces gathered for the star-studded night making it one of the biggest award shows of the year. Although there is so much to cover from this show, here are some of my favorite moments from the show!

DISCLAIMER: This post is super "all-over-the-place" and in no particular order so don't hate me for it ; )

First off, Justin Timberlake's acceptance speech. Wow. Not only was it beyond moving, it's super needed in 2017 (kinda sad but that's a story for later : )). And in typical Timberlake fashion, he's super lax about everything. Hopefully this man never dies because his words, like his music, are timeless.

Sticking to the positive words theme, The Chainsmokers kept short, sweet and to the point. Now, I'm not sure how you win Best New Artist when I've known about you for like 4 or 5 years but again, stories for another time. "To every kid out there that's making music at home, your dreams are closer than you think they are. Just Believe in yourself. Believe in your friends." I couldn't have said it better myself Drew!

Speaking of The Chainsmokers, belts are now shirts too...

Oh and how could I forget, BIG SEAN

So Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran & Benny Blanco won Best Lyrics and now Benny Blanco is my new favorite person. See why below.

And who would've thought when Ed Sheeran said, "The club isn't the best place to find a lover," that he was talking about all the times he hung out with DJ Khaled?? Also, DJ Khaled seems like the ultimate best friend/hype man. Need to work on being friends with him.

Then there was this kid accepting Coldplay's Best Tour Award like a boss. Get this kid an acting gig ASAP!

Now what would an award show be if it didn't have some Bruno Mars?! I mean seriously, this guy is too good. He pretty much got the whole iHeart Pit pregnant too. Hell, I thought I was pregnant after that performance.

And he won the Innovator award too. He seriously deserves it. 24K Magic is everything.

Now don't get me wrong, a lot more happened there and this is just a small taste of how awesome the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards truly was. Noah Cyrus just might be America's new little sister after tonight. And congrats to Thomas Rhett on the baby announcement! I cannot wait to see what 2017 holds for music and all the artists we hold near and dear. Guess we'll just have to wait for the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
