According To Phone Culture, Leaving A Voicemail Is Now Considered Rude

The 2010's and boom of social media has definitely changed the way we communicate with people. It's not just "brb" and "g2g" like it was in the old days (can you tell I miss AIM?). According to a new book, there are things we used to do that are no longer considered "acceptable" in our everyday text lingo. The biggest one? Leaving voice mails. Apparently that's a no-no these days. And I get it. If you're leaving a content-heavy message, listening to it over and over again just to jot down the all info isn't ideal. But my grandmother wouldn't like this one bit. What do you think? More info below.
