I have friends in cities that aren't Chicago who claim our mayor, Lori Lightfoot, seems too "harsh." Well, it seems like she's needed in this Peruvian city. Jaime Rolando Urbina Torres, the mayor Tantará, a small town in Peru, was caught Monday evening after a law enforcement broke up a local bar scene, cracking down on nationwide lockdown regulations. And intoxicated Torres decided the best way to avoid said law enforcement would be to play dead at the bar by lying still in what looks like a coffin while wearing an N95 mask. Ultimately, Mayor Torres was arrested. Full story here. Picture of his brilliant idea below.
