At first, I found it hard to believe that so many people were upset with John Krasinski. He played Jim in The Office. You'd think he'd be set for life. Well, we can't be entertained for long as folks were quick to criticize Krasinski for selling off his Some Good News network. About eight weeks ago, John started a "news" series dedicated to solely wholesome content to get people through the coronavirus pandemic. The best part about it and easily the reason people were so quick to call him out was it worked. Each week Krasinski was touching the lives of so many by simply just being there for people. From throwing a virtual prom with some of the biggest celebrities to hosting a virtual wedding and getting the entire cast of The Office to join in, John Krasinski seemed to be one of the few making sense during this time.
After the backlash, Krasinski went on to defend his decision to sell SGN claiming it'd be impossible for him and his friends to continue the show on top of all his commitments prior to the pandemic. Though he won't be hosting Some Good News anymore, Krasinski promises to make cameos. As one chapter ends, another begins. Thank you John Krasinski for going out of your way to provide a slice of humanity during all the chaos.
