Juneteenth Marked With Celebrations And Marches In Cities Across America

Today the city of Chicago celebrated Juneteenth, the holiday commemorating black freedom and the ending of slavery in 1865, with a march lead by faith leaders, activists and elected officials. It's important that black voices are being heard to the point where Juneteenth is getting national, mainstream acknowledgment and the city of Chicago definitely showcased community and solidarity in today's march.
