They say kids are the future. Now, while I've seen several Tik Tok videos that disproves that, this young teen is sticking true to the phrase and with flying colors! Meet Anika Chebrolu, A Texas freshmen in high school who is now being called America's top young scientist for her possible COVID-19 treatment. Chebrolu just won the 3M Young Scientist Challenge for finding a drug that just might be able to treat the virus and was thus awarded $25,000 for her work. According to TMZ, Anika, who started this process in 8th grade (yes, middle school), has created a molecule that combines a protein on the SARS-CoV-2 virus which makes it stop functioning.
