Vic Mensa has always been a leader and mouthpiece of the city of Chicago. From protests to back to school drives, Mensa has always had his hand in the community that raised him and thus a role model for young Chicagoans. This week he's tackling another issue within the city: homelessness amongst black youths. Because of the staggering numbers, Vic is planning to sleep outside this Thursday (11/19) from 6pm to 6am and is challenging everyone to donate $10 (Illinois's minimum wage) for every hour he's out there. While at first this sounds drastic, this is a reality for so many. For more info and where to donate, click here.
