If you're confused by that photo, that's Jack Black showing up wildly late but somehow right on time to Cardi B's #WAPChallenge. He then doubled down in a Spider-Man costume and did this:
We all seem to have more time on our hands and Jack Black seems to be using his...wisely? However you feel about it, anything that isn't reminding us of the impending doom outside is good, right? For many, Jack Black's social media antics have jogged everyone's memory on how awesome he is. So much so that fans want him to be the next addition to the MCU (because these days that the pinnacle of stardom). However, the internet has now also randomly deemed that there's a limited amount of seats in the MCU or at least that's the only explanation I can come up with as to why this surge of Jack Black fandom has turned into hate for Chris Pratt. Many know him as Starlord, the protagonist in the Guardians Of The Galaxy franchise of the MCU.
This is one of many tweets coming for Chris Pratt removal and Jack Black replacing him. Search "jack black chris pratt" on Twitter and it just goes on. But why the hate? Chris Pratt was practically on the cover of every popular magazine in 2017. Quite possibly could've been "World's Sexiest Man" that year. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see Jack Black in the MCU because he'd bring his one-of-one flare. And yes, I was mad when Starlord didn't follow through at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. But the hate? C'mon friends. Spread love. 2020 knows we need it!
