2020 has continually brought us some weird times so it's safe to say nothing should surprise us. But this really surprised me. This week, fast food pizza chain, Domino's (emphasis on fast food pizza chain), said they would pay over 11,500 hourly employees up to a $1,200 bonus during the month of December. This comes in response to the lack of response from Congress and passing a second stimulus bill. Domino's claims they'd be giving out about 9.6 million in bonuses but also don't seem to have a problem with that. So clearly, a fast food pizza chain can do a hell of a lot more than Congress currently. Happy Holidays to those hourly Domino's employees. Pizza's great too, btw.
