Justin Timberlake Issues An Apology To Britney Spears & Janet Jackson

Pepsi Super Bowl LII Halftime Show

While many say it's long overdue, Justin Timberlake has finally broken his silence and issued an apology to both Britney Spears and Janet Jackson. After the release of Framing Britney Spears on Hulu, many were brought up to speed as to why the #FreeBritney movement is so important. During portions of the film, they display how the media's role in Britney & Justin's relationship, among so many other things, manipulated the world to believe Britney was this horrible person while Justin sat by idly if not tarnishing her name himself.

For quite some time, many have called on Justin to speak out against the damning of Janet Jackson after their 2004 Super Bowl Halftime performance in which he exposed her breast on national television. Though he was the one that made it happen, the media blamed Janet for the mishap, drastically changing the course of her career.

In the note, Justin acknowledges the system is flawed and set for white men to succeed more so than anyone else. He calls out his own ignorance and is looking to do and better. His message in full below.
