Chicago Is Handling Its Rat Problem With Lots Of Cats

The city of Chicago is healing. As we further ourselves from the worst parts of COVID-19, 2020 and the pandemic in general, the all-around quirkiness of Chicago shines through more and more. Thanks to the Treehouse Humane Society, even cats are returning to work. To solve the city's rat problem, they've released 1,000 feral cats to get the job done. And don't worry. This is handled all in a very feline-friendly way. After safely capturing the stray cats, the Humane Society spays or neuters them and sets them off into the city to handle the sometimes kitten-size rats Chicago is all too familiar with.
