The supply chain problem has affected pretty much all aspects of life ever since we've been in a pandemic. At first, we thought it couldn't get any worse than no more chicken fingers but somehow it has. Valentine's Day will surely be taking a hit too. Roses, the flower of love, the heartfelt Valentine staple has become increasing harder to get mainly because the majority of roses we order come from overseas. According to the Boston Globe, "more than 250 million roses were produced for Valentine's Day in 2018." But once the pandemic hit, florists from Columbia to Kenya stopped plantings and laid off tons of workers. Maybe it's time to change up the flower of love? More below.
