We've got to do better by our bus and train operators Chicago! They're calling for stricter safety precautions after one of their own was pushed onto the Red Line tracks. According to Block Club Chicago, the Chicago Transit Justice Coalition says front-line operators are overlooked as threats and assaults are increasing for those that drives buses and trains. Monday at 8:30pm a Red Line operator was pushed onto the tracks after responding to a call saying someone dropped their phone. Thankfully they did not hit the electrical 3rd rail. More below.
