Jay shared he figured out the fighting styles after evaluating his own relationship.
"I'm the 'venter' which means I want to talk about it, fix it, and solve it right now," Jay explained. "My wife is the 'hider.' She needs time and space to think about it and then there's a third one called the 'exploder' where the person wants their emotions to be heard, felt, and seen."
Jay explained neither is better or worse than the other. It's all about just understanding your's and your partner's.
"Now that you're aware [of their style], you don't take it personally and you can respond more effectively."
