If you're a health care worker, Chipotle wants to hook you up with a free burrito:
Ahead of National Nurses Day, Chipotle Mexican Grill announced a burrito giveaway for "healthcare heroes."
Starting Thursday, the fast-casual restaurant chain says it will give 250,000 codes for free burritos to nurses, medical providers and hospital providers. Sign up begins at 10 a.m. PT April 29 at https://giving.chipotle.com/healthcareheroes.
The codes will be available while supplies last and provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
"Given the events of the past year, we are once again bringing our fans together to show appreciation for the heroic efforts of the healthcare community," Chris Brandt, Chipotle chief marketing officer, said in a news release.
