WinterFest on the Wisconsin is coming to Norfolk!
For the fifth annual WinterFest, the theme is holiday movies.
"It’s our fifth season of WinterFest and we’re going full-out Griswold," said Stephen E. Kirkland, executive director of Nauticus. "We’ve been watching holiday movies around here since March to get in the zone.”
WinterFest on the Wisconsin will be open on select nights from Nov. 15, 2024, until Jan. 1, 2025.
There will be a grand display of more than one million holiday lights, live performances, and festive food. Attendees can also view holiday decorations aboard Battleship Wisconsin.
Previous WinterFest staples return, including a waterfront s’mores station, the marina bar, a puppet version of "A Christmas Carol," animatronic elves throughout the battleship’s lower decks recreating classic holiday movie scenes, and an elaborate holiday train display.
