Sammy Hagar's public comments about the passing of his former bandmate in a video posted to YouTube titled "We Love You Eddie"
It’s been just over a week now since we lost rock legend Eddie Van Halen. Through the years, Eddie’s relationship with Sammy Hagar has been a bit of a rollercoaster. Of course, Hagar replaced David Lee Roth as the lead singer of Van Halen in 1985 and was on and off over the years until the late 1990s. Eddie passed away last week at age 65 of throat cancer and in the video recorded on Oct 7th, just a day later, Sammy is clearly coming to grips with his death.
