The Ocean’s 8 debut weekend was solid to say the least.
The movie opened to $41.5 million from it’s 4,145 screening locations. This is the highest opening weekend for any Ocean’s movie.
Oversees, the movie racked in $12.2 million bringing it’s global total is $53.7 million.
The movie had a total production cost of $70 million.
“We exceeded our expectations,” Goldstein said. “There’s always been a lack of movies [female-led projects]. I’m glad audiences enjoyed it as much as we did.”

Females accounted for 69% of audiences this week & 69% were also over the age of 25.
