102 Yr. Old Grandma Wins 200 Meter Race

Here's a little motivation to get you to the gym ASAP or make you feel really really lazy, I have to admit it made me feel the latter, let me tell you why. The World Masters Athletic Championship was earlier this month in Spain. Like most running competitions there was a 200-meter race, okay, pretty standard. Ready for the kicker? The 200-meter race winner was a 102-year-old great grandma from India. AKA the most bad-ass grandma probably in the world.

Gold medal winner, Man Kaur is from Chandigarh, India and the only person in her gender and age bracket to participate in the World Master's Athletics Championships.

One might think this grandma has been running her whole life but wrong-o, she just started running in 2009! So at 93-years-old, she decided to take up this new hobby.

If I'm alive at 90 yet alone running I'll be thanking my lucky stars.

The competition includes over 8,000 athletes and 100 countries to compete in the track and field events. In addition to completing and winning her 200-meter-race with a time of 3 minutes, 14 seconds, she also participated in the javelin contest.
