WHEN: The Chicago Air & Water Show is this weekend from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at North Avenue Beach.
ADMISSION: Free.
HOW TO WATCH: The show can be viewed along the lakefront from Fullerton to Oak Street, with North Avenue Beach as the focal point.
BLUE ANGELS, GOLDEN KNIGHTS AND OTHER PERFORMERS:
Headliners include the U.S. NavyBlue Angels, who have been astounding audiences since 1946 with their commanding presence and aerial maneuvers in their F/A-18 Hornet. This elite group of Navy pilots defy gravity with their famous diamond formation and precision flying. Their most famous maneuver, the Diamond 360, brings all six planes as close as 18 inches apart. The U.S. Army Parachute Team Golden Knights will also be a main performer, jumping out of an aircraft at 12,000 feet and exceeding speeds of 120 mph before landing in Lake Michigan below.
More than 2 million spectators will check out the show this weekend.
