Hefty has created a new line of 'talking' trash bags aimed towards millennials. The New York Post says:
Garbage bag retailer Hefty is attempting to cinch millennial buyers with a new campaign involving “talking,” limited-edition bags emblazoned with ridiculous phrases like “Feed me tacos & tell me I’m pretty,” “I’m so trashy” and “#swiped left.”
The unsubtle attempt at bagging younger people offers 13-gallon trash bags for $5.49 for a box of 20 at the equally unsubtle Web site HeftyCostsLessThanGlad.com.
The bags come on the heels of other millennial products including gigantic toilet paper rollsthat supposedly can last a month and a condescending version of Monopoly.
Other phrases marking up the sacks include “Feeling like garbage today,” “Burnt dinners & takeout containers,” “Cherish your dreams, trash the rest,” “Tie me up,” “#goals,” ” I’ve got 99 problems but trash ain’t one” and “Who you callin’ trash?”
