Chicago's Concert for a Cause, WeishFest, is back at The Salt Shed on November 9th!
WeishFest is the one-night, indoor music festival uplifting families battling cancer across Chicago and the Midwest featuring a unique lineup of music and an atmosphere unlike any other, with crowd favorites, O.A.R., GRAMMY-nominated superstar MIKE POSNER, Indie-folk sensation WILDERADO and folk-pop up and comer, HANS WILLIAMS.

All WeishFest proceeds benefit Weish4Ever’s mission of uplifting families battling cancer, helping bring support to more than 600 families facing cancer with financial gifts totaling over $3 million.

Story:
WeishFest was sparked by the inspiration of the late Andrew Weishar and his selfless request to pay forward the kindness and generosity he received during his battle with cancer. Colorectal cancer struck Andrew Weishar during his freshman year of college. Over the next three years, Andrew battled valiantly while the community rallied around him.
As the end neared, Andrew asked us to make him a promise: that we pay forward the goodwill bestowed upon his family. From that promise, the Andrew Weishar Foundation was born.
WeishFest uplifts families battling cancer by providing financial assistance and moments of joy.
More specifically, we serve adolescents and young adults (known as "AYA"), a group that is often overlooked in the cancer population. Weish4Ever's mission is to fill this void and be a vehicle of support for these families.
