Mike Sorrentino has found himself in quite the situation. The 'Jersey Shore' star was sentenced in eight months in prison and two years of supervised release. The initial court hearing began back in September 2014 for tax offenses and conspiracy to defraud the United States after allegedly failing to properly pay taxes on $8.9 million in income from 2010 to 2012.
The case came to a close in April 2017 when both men were indicted for tax evasion, structuring and falsifying records.
In January, Sorrentino pled guilty to one count of tax evasion. The sentencing comes just one day after The Situation celebrated 4 months of sobriety.

The whole Shore house crew was in attendance for the sentencing though only Jenni "JWOW" Farley and Vinny Guadagnino actually sat inside the courtroom during proceedings.
