A real Puppy Bowl is coming to Chicago to help out a great cause. You probably have heard of the the Puppy Bowl which has aired on Animal Planet since 2005 to coincide with the Super Bowl. Well, you can witness a puppy bowl in-person! Here is more from the Chicago Tribune :
"The Game Room at Chicago Athletic Association Hotel (12 S. Michigan Ave.) will partner with Alive Rescue for a special adoption party from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, featuring a bunch of adoptable four-legged friends frolicking on the bar’s bocce court and generally doing cute dog things. Alive Rescue is a local 501(c)(3) organization devoted to 'rescue and safe haven for animals,' per its website, particularly those living in city shelters that are at a high risk of being euthanized. The dogs at the Puppy Bowl will be available to meet as well as adopt."
There will be special deals on food and drink afterwards.
