If you've been listening to me for a while, you know I'm a health freak. I'm always looking for healthier alternatives to less healthy dishes and this past weekend I experimented with a healthier version of nachos for the Super Bowl. We can call these Shelly's Supreme Super Bowl Nachos :) Here are the ingredients I used and feel free to give it a try if you want to try something a little different this weekend:
Siete Lime Grain Free Tortilla Chips (these chips are super tasty alone too. They don't need any dip. Some people can't do grains and these are a great alternative to corn chips)
Bacon (if you want)
Sour cream (I made my own out of a thicker coconut yogurt and mixed it with lime juice)
Cheese (I have an allergy to cow's milk, but I can have goat's milk. I used THIS kind of cheese but you can use any type you'd like!)
