Fans Are Mad Madonna's Concert Starts So Late

Madonna's 'Madame X' concert has hit Chicago and fans are mad she doesn't go on until really late...10:30pm to be exact! She has several shows in Chicago through the 28th. The Chicago Tribune says:

Madame X doesn’t care about your bedtime.

Madame X also wants parents to attend her shows with their children.

How else to explain the 10:30 p.m. start time for Madonna’s Chicago shows, a time that is raising some eyebrows now that the tour arrival here is a reality. When the “Madame X” tour kicked off in New York, the concerts started at 10:30 p.m., something that has continued throughout the tour. As the New York Post review of the singer’s first night noted, “You wait until Madonna is ready.”

The seven-show residency, at the Chicago Theatre Wednesday until Oct. 28, lists the same 10:30 p.m. start time for all dates. The tour website has a note to fans, that “doors will open at 7:30 p.m., three hours prior to the show’s 10:30 p.m. star. However, due to anticipated admission processing time please arrive no later than 9:30 p.m.” The concert itself is expected to last about 2 hours and 20 minutes, which will put bleary-eyed Madonna devotees back on the streets at about 1 a.m.

1 a.m.?! I couldn't do it. Are you seeing Madonna's show?
