The beloved 1993 film, which co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Better Midler and Kathy Najimy, is getting a sequel at Disney Plus, Variety reported on Wednesday (October 23).
Workaholicswriter and co-producer Jen D’Angelo is set to pen the script.
While the three original stars are not attached to the script, Disney is reportedly “hopeful” that they will be involved in some way.
The movie celebrated its 25th anniversary with a big special on Freeform in 2018.
