Get free admission at the Shedd Aquarium in October:
Shedd Aquarium will offer Illinois residents a chance to see life under the sea throughout the month of October.
"The free days underscore Shedd’s commitment to allowing everyone an opportunity to come eye to eye with aquatic life – even despite the aquarium’s extended closure earlier this year," Shedd Aqaurium said.
Illinois residents can visit for free on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in October.
Shedd Aquarium adopted several preventative measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 such as limited capacity, mandatory face masks, hand sanitizer stations and timed entry to name a few.
