The 'Saved By The Bell' Reboot Gets a Premiere Date

The 'Saved By The Bell' reboot now has a premiere date!

At last, the “Saved by the Bell” cast has invited us to save the date: Wednesday, November 25.

The original high-school sitcom — which launched Mario Lopez, 46, and Mark-Paul Gosselaar, 46 — aired on NBC from 1989 to 1993, and saw a sequel series called “Saved by the Bell: The College Years,” which aired from 1993 to 1994.

Here's what the reboot is all about:

he plot of the revival will follow Zack Morris (Gosselaar), now the governor of California, who finds himself in a political controversy after he closes too many of the state’s low-income schools. As an attempt to recover, he proposes sending the students who are impacted to well-funded schools such as Bayside.

This story includes new characters such as Zack’s son Mac (Mitchell Hoog,“Roswell, New Mexico”) and Jessie’s son Jamie (Belmont Cameli, “Empire”). A.C. Slater (Lopez) returns and is now a gym teacher at the school.

I might have to get Peacock to watch this. Again, catch the premiere Nov. 25th on NBC streamer Peacock.
