Country star, Blake Shelton, is expected to marry Grammy award-winning artist, Gwen Stefani, any day now. With that, he is ready to be a stepfather to Stefani's three kids.
Shelton recently went on 'The Ride With Kimo & Heather' and said "There's definitely nothing easy about it...don't know if it's as hard or harder or not as hard as being an actual biological parent, you know?" He's ready to draw from his formative years experience with his own stepfather as a source of inspiration for his own parenting style. "I love my stepfather, and I looked up to him. And he's like a father to me," he said. "So, you know, I have a good inspiration in my life to how to do this and the kind of stepdad I want to be."
In an Instagram post from 2020 Father's Day, Stefani expresses gratefulness to have her fiancée in the lives of her children, "Thank u for helping me raise these boys."
