Country superstars, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, are a prime example of a healthy, long-term marriage. So what is their secret to making marriage last? McGraw credits some of this to his friend and Hollywood actor, Harrison Ford. In an interview with Big Machine Label Group, McGraw said,
“I think the best advice I heard for a long marriage is, Harrison Ford, they were talkin’ about being married to Callista Flockhart for so long. And he said, ‘Well, I’ve learned to say the least amount of words that you can possibly say to keep yourself out of trouble.’ So I’d probably go along with that advice.”
Almost 25 years and three kids later, Indiana Jones must have said something right! The McGraw told People magazine that, "It’s such a rare thing to be able to experience what we do for a living, and to do it together, really feels like all the moments are special.” Hill followed up with, “I watch him perform and still to this day I’m awed by it."
The most iconic couple in country music celebrated 24 years of marriage last October and compiled some of their moments together in an Instagram post below.
