Wisconsin National Guard Member Indicted For Treason

A Wisconsin National Guard member has been charged in connection with the Capitol insurrection that happened earlier this year.

Abram Markofski and his friend Brandon Nelson were both arrested earlier this week on four charges:

  • Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building or Grounds
  • Disorderly and Disruptive Conduct in a Restricted Building or Grounds
  • Violent Entry or Disorderly Conduct
  • Parading, Demonstrating, or Picketing in a Capitol Building.

Markofski was an active Wisconsin National Guard member since 2019, a private first-class in the 1st Battalion, 128th Infantry according to a Guard spokesperson. He and Nelson reportedly drove to Washington D.C. to attend former President Trump's political rally. After which they proceeded to join the mob and storm the Capitol building.

These two are of many being probed and arrested for their involvement in the January Capitol riots.
